Reporting a bug

Three things make a bug fixable instead of a mystery: what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. If a screen went blank, press F12, open the Console tab, and paste whatever's in red: that one line usually solves it outright.

Asking for a feature

Tell me the problem rather than the solution. "I need to show a client which pages to get listed on" leads somewhere better than "add a CSV export button". Requests that come with a real example of your own work get built first.

Things I'll say no to

• Surfaces without a public API. The day one opens up, it goes in.
• Guarantees about getting you into AI answers.
• Content writing. This tool measures; it doesn't produce.
